What makes it a Seafood Extravaganza?
This is my final MasterChef Junior Seafood dish, and I’m so glad I saved this one for last because it has it all. I call it a Seafood Extravaganza because it had a little bit of everything in it: a stunning red snapper fillet, baby scallops, razor clams, and calamari tentacles. The dish was made complete with a delicious shellfish broth and sautéed rainbow chard. Every bite was better than the last, so it was a great way to celebrate the completion of another MCJ cookbook section.
If you’re a seafood lover, you need to try this recipe. The MasterChef Junior Cookbook is actually on sale at Amazon, and I highly recommend adding this cookbook to your collection. I am not earning any affiliate income from promoting them (though I wish I was–haha), but this journey has truly been so incredible and so many of the recipes have been out-of-this-world good that I can’t help but recommend it. Plus, it’s also taught me so many valuable kitchen skills and cooking techniques. For example, for this recipe I learned how to shuck my own clams. This journey reignited my passion for learning new things, and for that I will be forever grateful.

That’s a wrap
After completing all 15 of the MCJ fish and shellfish recipes, I’m pleased to report that I loved every one of them. I loved trying new kinds of fish and experiencing new flavors from so many different cultures. Some were simple, like the Fish Tacos, and others were more challenging, like the Salt-Baked Branzino. Some were familiar, like Salmon with Asparagus, and others were completely new to me, like the Alligator Stir Fry.
With another section complete, I am almost done with this journey. Stay tuned so you can celebrate the ending with me.
All my love,
Dani, a big tid
