Pistachio Macarons with Vanilla Caramel Filling
Pg. 229
Alexander, Season 1
51 down…48 to go!

These are technically “Miracle Macarons” because it’s legitimately a MIRACLE that an amateur baker, like myself, was able to pull these off, on my first try.
Macarons are a delicate French cookie that have a reputation for being incredibly finicky. I gave myself a 3% chance of success. I would have put big money on me failing the first time. But miracles happen everyday, and one happened to me today! These babies came out PERFECT! I literally can’t stop staring at these photos. (I hope that doesn’t sound narcissistic. Macs are just beautiful, delicate treats, and I loved how the pics came out.)

Also, these are extra special because I hosted a collab on Instagram called “Baked With Love” where a bunch of home cooks baked a variety of delicious treats and gifted them to someone or people in need. Go check out the hashtag #bakedwithlovecollab on IG to see what some amazing people did in the spirit of spreading kindness!

All my love,
Dani, a big tid
P.S. Have you ever made macarons? I honestly would love to make more, so I’d appreciate some suggestions 🙂
