Chocolate Peppermint Martini with Coco Pebble Rim

I have been creating a series of nostalgic cocktails using ingredients or inspiration from childhood favs (mainly geared towards 80’s/90’s babies). I have had my eye on Yoohoo for awhile, and I thought Christmas was the perfect time to bring it in. So that’s when this Chocolate Peppermint Martini was born. I mixed the classic chocolate milk drink with a delightful mixture of liqueurs and enough peppermint schnapps to give it the festive flavor, but not overpower it. Then obviously, it’s not a martini without a good vodka! You mix it all together and pour it into a chocolate drizzled martini glass with a chocolate rim (sprinkled with crushed up peppermint) and voila, you have the perfect Christmas Eve night cap cocktail!

I was gifted this bottle of local, Texas vodka from Dripping Springs Vodka. It was so smooth, and I know the rest of the bottle is going to go quickly. It blended into the martini perfectly! I plan to check out their distillery soon, and have another Nostalgic Cocktail in mind that I can’t wait to share with you. Next time you’re shopping for a good vodka, look for this one the next time you’re at the liquor store!

All my love,
Dani, a big tid

P.S. Please let me know if you make this cocktail by mentioning ! Nothing would make me happier.
