I’m sure I’ve seen tortellini on menus at Italian restaurants, but I can safely say I’ve never tried it before.
Not all MasterChef Junior recipes have photos of the end product, but I did my best to follow the written instructions when shaping the pasta pockets and hoped for the best. Afterwards, I looked up a photo of tortellini and realized my technique definitely needs some work…

But despite their shape, these tortellini tasted amazing! I’m actually getting really comfortable with making my own pasta thanks to the MCJ cookbook. This is the 5th pasta recipe I’ve done, out of nine recipes in the pasta section. I was so intimidated by this section when I first started, and now I feel like I’m really becoming a MasterChef!

I got this spoon at a local antique store and I’m obsessed
