Froot Loop White Russian

An Original Recipe by ME 🙂
A part of the Nostalgic Cocktail Series
Inspired by National Cereal Day

Who else loved Froot Loops growing up? For me, cereal in general was life. I could eat cereal any time of the day; it’s not just reserved for breakfast, in my opinion. Plus, the weekends were all about having as many bowls of cereal as humanly possible.

I don’t have cereal as much these days, but since National Cereal Day was coming up and I love developing nostalgic recipes more than anything, I knew it was time to go down the cereal aisle next time I went grocery shopping. That’s when I thought of this fun and fruity drink.

To be honest, I will probably make countless recipes in the future using cereal; there are just so many versatile things you can do with it. This is actually my fourth cocktail highlighting a specific cereal. I consider this one to be a spin-off of a White Russian because it shares the three key ingredients of this classic cocktail (coffee liqueur, vodka, and heavy cream). To make it my own, I added one more liqueur, a white chocolate rim, and Froot Loop dust whipped cream on top.

Below you will find a recipe card that you can print out, pin to Pinterest, or save directly to your device. Let me know if you end up making it by tagging me on social media!

Pro Tip: to get the coveted layered look of a White Russian, slowly pour the ingredients, starting with the coffee liqueur, one by one over ice. The pictures I have included are after the drink has been stirred up.

All my love,
Dani, a big tid
